Standout track from the legendary synthpop band.
The Adored-Tell me Tell me (by beatinghearts101)
Scruffy, melodic, punk influence power-pop…I can’t find a clip of this song other than this live one, but I think it does this catchy as hell song justice…
Swirling, lush post-punk laced darkwave. A mainstay in my collection.
Excellent, catchy post punk/nu wave. The track “Surrounded” is a mainstay on my playlists. Killers, The Cinematics, etc. fans definitely need to check this 2006 album out.
Amusement Parks On Fire-Out Of The Angeles -
One of my earliest introductions to Amusement Parks On Fire was this phenomenal track off of their 2006 album, Out Of Angeles. Blending shoegaze, dream pop, and alternative rock into a melodic, dreamy wall of sound, APOF have quickly become one of my favorite bands of the 2000s.

Lover’s Lie by Vedera (by bastianplease)
One of my favorite bands to come out of KC. Highly recommended for fans of melodic female fronted alternative bands like The Sundays, Velocity Girl, and Madder Rose.
Van She - Kelly (by jeanainacoma)
I’m such a geek for well done synthpop. This is their first single from 2006.
White Rose Movement - Alsatian (by IndependienteRecords)
Sexy, slinky post-punk with a new wave edge from the now defunct band. A really great album and a band that deserved a better shot.
KILLING JOKE - Walking with gods (by radioaktivity)
